DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
There are so many reasons to feel discouraged: When we hear the news of problems in the world, when we face challenges that seem overwhelming, when we have problems that don’t seem to have solutions. There are certainly times when we can feel hopeless.
Hope is a small word, but it is one of the most powerful.
Hope is a small word, but it is one of the most powerful.
The Bible tells us that hope endures. We can always put our hope in God! He wants to give us hope in any situation, no matter how bad things might seem.
There is an Italian saying: “Hope is the last thing ever lost”
At best, the world can provide answers that give short-term relief.
If we depend on God, we can know that He is the source of hope, and we can rejoice in Him and the hope He promises us. If we have hope we can be filled with joy and peace, no matter what is going on in the world.
